🇳🇵 Nepal — When the Mountains Cry

We often look at Nepal and see the Himalayas.

Beautiful mountains.

Quiet valleys.

Rivers flowing between them.

A place that feels almost untouched by the noise of the world.

But today, those same rivers have brought unimaginable destruction.

Homes have disappeared.

Roads and bridges have been washed away.

Families are searching for their loved ones.

And many people are still waiting for news that may never come.

The recent flash floods have left communities across Nepal facing a devastating loss.

Nepal Mission +1

And behind every number is a person.

Someone's father.

Someone's mother.

Someone's friend.

Someone's child.

Someone who had plans for tomorrow.

Natural disasters remind us how small we are in front of nature.

We spend our lives chasing money, success, deadlines and status.

But when nature changes its course,

all those things suddenly become meaningless.

At that moment, we don't need more wealth.

We need people to be safe.

We need rescue.

We need compassion.

We need humanity.

Today, my thoughts are with everyone affected by the floods in Nepal.

🇳🇵 May those who are missing be found.

May those who are suffering find help.

And may every family waiting for someone get to see them again.

Sometimes, the greatest thing we can do is simply care. 🤍
