SKYLAR SWINNEY. TYLER NEWMAN. DEAN SWINNEY. WINDY RIDGE BROTHERS.

Discussion

SKYLAR SWINNEY. TYLER NEWMAN. DEAN SWINNEY. WINDY RIDGE BROTHERS.

I am done speaking vaguely about what happened.

For clarity, Dean Swinney and Skylar Swinney are brothers.

The business involved in my transactions was Windy Ridge Brothers, and the people I dealt with in connection with this situation include Skylar Swinney, Tyler Newman, and Dean Swinney.

This is not gossip.

This is not hearsay.

This is not me trying to remember what happened months later.

I have the documentation.

I have the order records.

I have the invoices.

I have the payment receipts.

I have the text messages.

I have the quantities ordered.

I have the quantities received.

I have retained recordings of the conversations.

I have the communications acknowledging that merchandise was still owed to me.

I have the communications saying the missing merchandise would be shipped.

And when that did not happen, I have the communications saying I would be refunded.

That refund never came.

Based on my records, I paid Windy Ridge Brothers for merchandise and approximately 12 ounces of what I paid for were never received.

That represents approximately $800 in money and/or merchandise value that remains unresolved.

The timeline is simple:

I paid for merchandise.

My records show approximately 12 ounces were still owed to me.

I raised the shortage.

I was told it would be shipped.

It wasn't.

I was then told I would be refunded.

I wasn't.

I still have neither the missing merchandise nor the refund.

At the beginning, this could have been treated as a mistake.

Businesses make mistakes.

Orders get packed incorrectly.

Quantities can be wrong.

Shipments can get messed up.

But mistakes are corrected.

What changed this situation for me was what happened afterward.

The missing merchandise was acknowledged.

I was told it would be sent.

It wasn't.

Then I was told I would get my money back.

I didn't.

They had the opportunity to provide what I paid for.

They had the opportunity to refund me.

They did neither.

So yes:

At this point, I believe Skylar Swinney, Tyler Newman, Dean Swinney, and Windy Ridge Brothers robbed me of approximately $800 in value.

I do not use that word lightly.

I am using it because I paid for merchandise, did not receive all of it, was told the missing product would be supplied, was later told I would be refunded, and ultimately received neither.

I have the records to support that timeline.

Approximately 12 ounces.

Approximately $800.

Paid for.

Not received.

Promised to be shipped.

Not shipped.

Promised to be refunded.

Not refunded.

That is what I am publicly documenting.

For a bootstrapped small business, $800 matters.

That is inventory.

Advertising.

Shipping.

Packaging.

Equipment.

Payroll.

Website expenses.

New products.

Growth.

And 12 ounces of inventory is not some insignificant counting error.

It is merchandise that was paid for.

Merchandise that could have been sold.

Merchandise that represented revenue for my business.

Merchandise that I never received.

I trusted my business relationship with Windy Ridge Brothers.

I trusted the people I was dealing with.

Now I trust the documentation.

And fortunately, I kept everything.

The orders.

The receipts.

The texts.

The payment records.

The conversations.

The quantities.

The promises to ship.

The promise to refund.

I am naming the people involved because I do not want anyone wondering who I am talking about when I discuss this situation.

Skylar Swinney.

Tyler Newman.

Dean Swinney.

Windy Ridge Brothers.

Again, Dean Swinney and Skylar Swinney are brothers.

And I want to make another point absolutely clear:

Do not harass these people.

Do not threaten them.

Do not contact their families.

Do not contact their employers.

Do not message them on my behalf.

Do not review-bomb their business.

Do not interfere with their lives or employment.

That is not what I am asking for.

I am documenting my own experience and my own transactions.

What I want is very simple:

Resolve the approximately $800 that I paid for and did not receive in merchandise or refund.

That is it.

Either provide the merchandise that was paid for or return the money.

I would have preferred for this to have been resolved privately.

There were multiple opportunities for that to happen.

The merchandise could have been shipped.

The refund could have been issued.

Instead, I am still here with the same records, the same shortage, and the same unresolved approximately $800.

And if you own a small business, please learn from my experience:

Get everything in writing.

Save every invoice.

Save every receipt.

Save every payment confirmation.

Screenshot important conversations.

Keep your text history.

Record quantities ordered and quantities received.

Photograph shipments when they arrive.

Reconcile every shipment immediately.

And when someone acknowledges that they owe you something, keep that communication.

When they promise to send it, keep that.

When they promise to refund it, keep that too.

I did.

So for the record:

Skylar Swinney. Tyler Newman. Dean Swinney. Windy Ridge Brothers.

I paid for merchandise.

My records show approximately 12 ounces remained owed to me.

I was told it would be shipped.

It wasn't.

I was told I would be refunded.

I wasn't.

Approximately $800 remains unresolved.

I have the orders. I have the receipts. I have the texts. I have the payment records. I have retained the conversations.

That is why I am speaking publicly.

And I want what I paid for resolved.
