Will my high school performance keep me from entering a union?

I graduated high school with a 2.0 gpa. I did the last two years of high school online so that I could become an HVAC apprentice for a local company. I always preferred to work, and currently work anywhere between 60-80 hours a week at a factory job.

I believe I have what it takes to be a solid tradesman and I’m interested in getting back into HVAC but I’m worried my disinterest in high school will set me back.

Context, I’m 19 years old, live near Chicago currently but interested in moving to a southern state. Super motivated and enjoy learning.
