Is it too soon to ask what are we?

Ive been dating this guy for around 4 months now

I gave him hints but everytime, he is so vague about what we are. one time he says Ill make an amazing wife another time he says we are only getting to know each other and its too soon for labels, and yes! we did se*ting and everything.

Also lately he has been very distant only answering my questions never talking about something or starting the conversation. he says thats just how he is but I remember the times he sent me full on paragraphs about the things he likes😭( He is an infj if that helps)

I just dont know what to do anymore I like this guy he says he likes me but Im tired of being the only one leading on the conv

What do you suggest I should do ?🫠
