Even Zudio isn’t accepting RuPay credit card payments through UPI. If even large retailers are avoiding these charges, how can small local stores afford to bear the 2.8% MDR on credit card transactions?
Banks should reduce or completely eliminate these charges. It would benefit both customers and merchants.
