Looking to rehome
I have had my leopard gecko for about ten years, got her as a hatchling. When she was around 3 she developed a growth on her mouth. The vet said it was a tumor and would cost thousands to remove. I, being 18, did not have thousands to spend on a gecko. So I decided I would give her the best end of life care that I could. It’s been 7 years and she’s still alive. The tumor grows and shrinks from time to time, my concern is that she has lost a dramatic amount of weight in the past year and will not eat solid food. I fear that I am not equipped to care for her and would like to pass her to someone who is. And honestly, I’m an adult with a full time job now and don’t have a ton of extra money or time to put into a lizard I got when I was 15. I know that she deserves a caring home that will be patient with her and help her now in her golden years. I am not looking for judgement or advice, simply someone who can take better care of her than I can. Message me if you’re interested in taking her and live within an hour of NYC/Jersey. I can send pictures and more details over dm.
