Help me find a book I've read once and I barely remember anything about it.

Hi, basically the title says it all.

The only thing I can remember is that the main female character enters a booth or something and has that time of her life...if you know what i mean. It's very public, everyone knows what happens in the booths but its like a way of exploring your own sexuality. I have no idea if this a legit book or I've just dreamt it. Also the only thing I can also remember but this is more like a guess that the authors name is two initials...like AJ or something.

But maybe I've dreamt the whole thing and there is no such book. Help a gal out here.
