Sub 30k that won’t bore me to tears

Itching to get a new (to me) car and am struggling to decide on what to get/consider.

I’m looking for sedan or hatchback and only open to an SUV if it’s something small and quirky like Mitsubishi Samurai 🙂. No RWD as I live with snow and go skiing regularly. FWD is fine.

I currently drive an 08 Camry that is pristine and low mileage and frankly have no need to move on from but I’m succumbing to consumerism. Since I’ve had this car for nearly a decade now with zero issues I don’t think I could handle moving to something with poor reliability.

Looked at current gen Corolla hatch/Civic hatch and they seemed well enough but close to 30k for an econobox just seems crazy to me.

Mazda 3 sedan seemed decent (don’t think I’d like the lack of visibility in that hatch) but not sure on fit as I’m 6 foot and have heard Mazda interiors are a bit cramped.

Very open to used 2010s ish (don’t think I can reasonably go older) recommendations if they have a bit of character/enjoyment factor to them!
