This where gets odd, she gave me a DLH number that said the item was as delivered a month before even before I placed the order I did not take much importance as sometimes tracking numbers are recycle. Anyways the bag arrived via a different carrier 2 weeks after she gave me the DHL tracking # 🤣 at this point I will assume she does not want to share her delivery logistics which is acceptable, specially knowing what is going on in many countries, so out of respect I will keep it private, but I will say it was delivered by one of the 2 major shipping companies.

Let’s start disclosing, I never held a Kelly I am not willing to pay 2-3x the cost of a bag, so I did the best thing I could do and was to purchase a box calf and chèvre leather samples from an American distributor.
Leather
Based on my observations DD box calf leather it is harder than the sample received from local distributors. I think is because DD leather has a ticker coat of finish on top, this is done to prolong durability and hide leather defects. I can see the leather may develop patina, but will take longer than 4uth H box leather.
Interior learher
comparison to Chèvre leather sample I order is consistent with the bag.
Smell
I had let air the bag almost 2 weeks, still have some smell to a deodorant packs used to minimize humidity and strong glue smell, but the leather smell is slowly coming out. But Chèvre and Box Calf leathers samples smell like a leather jacket, bag smell is not there yet, but it will
Hardware
Appears to be decent, although when you hit it with another metal or glass you can tell is not solid. Perlage appears to be present and looks done by hand. Engraving looks done by hand, not laser, but S, P, R appears very precise usually with will show some struggle as they are circular and is hard to be precise with circular letters when engraving by hand.
Color
is consistent with the authentic
Stamping
is clear and not too deep, consistent with the authentic, appears to be centered as well.
Stitching
Hand stitching is done to perfection and precision. There are small variations present as all hand stitching must have in terms of angle and length, but it is executed as well as an authentic.
Finishing on edges
Some smudging on the top of the logo, but nothing that you can see without paying attention. See pictures
Zipper
Has the H at the end works smoothly and looks engraved with brand name

I think the biggest challenge with reps is to adjust expectations when comparing with the 4uth and connect this with the pr1ce. The average c0st to produce a Kelly according to public sources is 900 for materials, 100-200 hardware, plush the cost of the artisan that put together the bag we are looking for 1000-1500 dollars. Putting things in perspective I think this bag is a great deal and you are looking for 80-90% accuracy depending your expectations.

Just because the tracking confusion and the reminders.
I will say, DD work is great and worth every penny, but adjust your expectations be ready to wait at least 3 months. I think my order was one of the few exceptions that was ready 3 weeks as she said, but patience is a key when working with her. Also, be mindful English is not her primary language, keep conversation to the point and add pictures, this has been helpful with all the s3llers that I work with.
