Hey everyone. I've spent the last few weeks working on a small side project, and I finally have a stable version. It's called ChronoTap, and it's a competitive timing game.

The core mechanic is absurdly simple: I give you a target time (e.g., 1.250 seconds), and you have to press and hold a button, releasing it at the exact millisecond.

It sounds easy, but I've designed a bunch of different game modes to mess with your head:

📅 Daily (Wordle-style): One global target time per day for everyone. You get 3 attempts and can share your results.

🔥 Streak: Pure survival. The margin for error shrinks with every level you beat.

💣 Bomb: Cut the wire at the exact millisecond. If you hold it even 1ms too long, you blow up.

🌪️ Frenzy: An endless time attack. Nailing the time adds precious seconds to your clock; missing by too much drains it instantly.

🫀 Heartbeat: You play completely blind. The screen doesn't help—you only rely on your phone's vibration and the sound of a heartbeat.

⚡ Reflexes: The classic reaction test to measure your pure response time.

🎮 Multiplayer (Online & Local): Private rooms to bet in-game coins with friends, plus modes to play together tapping on the same screen.

I also added some extra spice for the highly competitive players out there:

🌍 Global & Country Leaderboards: Every mode has its own ranking. You can filter by country to see who's the best in your area and fight for the Top 1 spot.

🎨 Custom Public Profiles: By playing, you earn coins to unlock button skins, particle effects, nickname colors, and titles. The best part? If someone taps your name on the leaderboard, they'll visit your public profile and see your game screen customized exactly how you styled it.

It's a Progressive Web App (PWA), so there are no downloads or sketchy APKs—it runs directly from your mobile or PC browser.

I'd love for you guys to try it out and give me some honest feedback. If you find any bugs (which I'm sure there are), let me know in the comments.

Can anyone get a "Perfect" (0ms error) on their first try in Bomb mode?

I made a free web game to test your reflexes down to the millisecond (and it's more frustrating than it looks) ⏱️
