Ok antibiotics not for piercing

So I made the mistake of getting a bunch of piercing at one time a couple years ago and the piercings been temperamental ever since. I’m on antibiotics for something unrelated, and the piercings are doing better than ever. Has anyone had this with ear cartilage?
