Skill addons

I recently wanted to add a skill based addon and watched videos on 3. Levels matter, Rpg Skills, and Player Skills Pro. In the end I decided on Levels Matter bc I didn't particularly like the way you gain levels through xp (ik how long it can take when you get past like lvl 30) but decided it would be fine because one of the skills was increased xp up to 3x. Come to find out it's not tied to XP but the XP BAR and that would be fine if enchanting wasn't a thing. I like to do villager trading to get books, and enchanting like that takes a lot of levels at once so I go from about to get to level 36 to having to restart all the way back from level 12 someone please tell me it's a glitch or I can get a refund on the addon
