Question about nipple piercing

Hi, so I got my nipple piercing done a week ago and the moment the piercer put the jewelry on me I already knew it was way too short, I know I should have tell her to put a larger bar on but I was nervous and with the shock of the piercing just done I just walked out happy that I got it.

Now the balls of the piece are getting under my skin, it hurts but it doesn't feel alarming yet, I tried to take it out but i couldn't and it seemed to make it worse, my skin just got more swollen. I've been cleaning the piercing twice a day with an isotonic, sterile saline solution, I'm pretty sure the bar is made of titanium.

Help, is it better to take it out or just wait for the swelling to settle down?? since it's been just a week I thought that leaving it there until it goes down would be the better option, just to not irritate the skin more than it already is, but I'm no professional😢
