Is no reply enough to treat a shift as confirmed?
A cleaner is on the schedule for Monday but never actually said yes. Should the shift count as confirmed?
I don't think "scheduled" and "confirmed" mean the same thing. A manager can assign the shift, but there is still uncertainty until the cleaner responds.
Treating silence as a yes makes the schedule look more settled than it is. The problem may not surface until someone checks in later or the cleaner does not show up.
I would keep the shift visibly unconfirmed until the cleaner responds.
How does your team handle shifts with no response?
