Is DLSS 5 possible on L.A Noire or Mass Effect games?!
I’m a huge fan of what we are seeing with DLSS 5, this really feels like a full generational change. We all argue, that since the release of PS4, it’s kinda similar, with better lights.
But, now this is the drastic change, this is completely different level, and with AI progressing, this is the worst it can be, but… as my ultimate argument for - why leave consoles behind (as a fan (exclusively playing on) of console since PS1-PS5.
It’s - retroactive. As resolution, mods or anything. You don’t need to wait for proper remaster, its just a toggle.
So many games looks so bad on even last generation, due to cap 1080/30fps.
But PC are open, so even if the future is 8K, the Dragon Age and Morrowind will support it… not on a consoles.
And I hope this will works the same way.
As I loved what I saw on Starfield, Death Stranding 2, GTA V or Witcher 3 and of course, CP77… I’m wonder, is there way to try it on - older titles?! Like L.A Noire, which was a revolutionary title in sense of faces and mocap.
Or Mass Effect trilogy, where faces weren’t the most appreciated thing…
Can it work?! How?! Did anyone try?!
Or only games, which already support any type of DLSS?!
