Type 1 diabetes and PCOS

HI everyone, I have only recently been diagnosed with PCOS after asking about this/being worried about symptoms for 6 years. I also have type 1 diabetes and have gained so much weight over this time period. I am waiting for follow up from my doctor but I was curious to know if anyone else is in a similar situation and could offer advice on helping with weight loss? I do really struggle with this and I have been skipping meals even if this isn't ideal for the diabetes as I am desperate. Feel like I am in a bit of a metabolic nightmare at the moment. Any help much appreciated
