Baby gift ideas - I need to make small gifts for newborns

I need to make gifts for 4 babies/expectant mothers and they all need to be the same.

I want it to be something small and rather quick, since I need to make it 4 times. My ideas are merino booties or hats/beanies, but I'm wondering if toys wouldn't be a better idea. I'm having trouble finding a pattern that I like. I want the toys to be small and kind of floppy? So far nr 1 is an octopus with spiral legs, that seems like a fun toy for a baby.

Do you have any other patterns/ideas? They don't need to be free.
