Why does Kiara romanticize being a Pogue?

I found it so weird she was also yelling full kook in season 1 when John b found the Gold. Isn’t she already a kook but despises being one? She also seems very tone deaf when it comes to actual Pogue problems.

Kiara comes from a loving home with both parents present. Shows them disrespect anytime they want to protect her away from the Pogue life. It makes sense since her father was a Pogue himself. She doesn’t face severe poverty, food insecurity, and dangerous home environment.

She likes the idea of being a Pogue but not the reality she can happily run back to figure 8 like nothing happened.
