I missed my offer for law but wanna apply for Theology/TRPR this year

❔ SUBJECT QUESTION

I missed my offer from LSE to study law, (Got 4A’s and a B instead of A*AA) but I do not want to go through the LNAT stress again and don’t have sufficient time to revise for it anyways. So I want to apply for TRPR at Cambridge this year. I was put on the August reconsideration pool after an interview last year but obviously missed that as well.

I have very compelling extenuating circumstances that explain my poor performance, but my question is whether switching courses and not having the best A Levels would affect my likelihood of getting in. My interest for TRPR is much more genuine than that for law, and im sure i can present it in my personal statement. I was the valedictorian of last year so have glowing teacher references as well. Do you think its a wise idea to switch courses?
