Outside the box - Mortgage
I'm looking for help from someone who understands lending on an unburdened property in Ireland.
I'm moving back to Ireland with my pregnant wife.
We have a chunk of change from savings and investments, but we are not staying in our jobs, and it's not possible to stay in them.
We need a home ASAP, baby incoming May 2027.
Can we buy a property with cash, while we don't have jobs, and later remortgage the property when we do, to refill our investment portfolios. I assume the same LTV and LTI rules would apply. But I'd like the cash, and the ability to continue investing as we currently are.
I have an interest in finance and a QFA qualification.
