Dammit... why is everything so expensive?

My last batch of singles i ordered i finally picked up a sheoldred ($150 CAD), and was stuck on justifying that purchase for a while... i completely forgot that I also really need a one ring for another deck (for every deck, really). Those are $150 CAD as well! I wish I would've sucked it up and grabbed them back when they were $75. I have no issues with proxy's, I just like dropping the real deal sometimes...

How is everyone doing it? Just buying onesies twosies here and there when they have an extra couple hundred or are we all just running proxy's now and I need to adapt?
