Photography helps me connect with the world around me. A camera allows me to strike up a conversation with almost anyone. It’s also a key that unlocks doors and gives me the chance to go to places I wouldn’t otherwise have ended up. Photography has changed my perception of the world and my attitude towards people. It has made me empathise and learn more about the realities of other people’s lives.

A moment in time, captured through the lens, lasts forever. That’s what makes photography special to me. It’s not just a way of travelling through time: the viewer has the chance to experience the emotions and events captured by the photographer. That’s why, above all else, I love street photography and candid portraits. These aren’t just images; they’re moments from other people’s lives that you can really feel.
