KEA Round 2 Admission Completed at UVCE, But My Documents Were Not Collected — What Should I Do?
Hi everyone,
I was allotted UVCE through KEA Round 2 for 2026–27. I physically went to UVCE and completed my admission process on 27 August 2026.
I have:
- Received my KEA admission order
- Received the admission acknowledgement from UVCE
- Registered on UUCMS
- Received an email from UUCMS saying that I am “provisionally accepted” by UVCE
However, there is one thing that is worrying me.
During the admission process, none of my original documents or photocopies were collected by UVCE. They also gave me a file/envelope for the documents, but even that was not collected from me.
I have now returned to my hometown, and I only realised this after checking my documents.
The Round 2 admission deadline is 31 August, and I am worried that my admission/document verification may not have been properly completed or that my seat could be cancelled.
I have tried contacting UVCE, but I haven't received a response yet.
What should I do now?
Has anyone who completed UVCE/KEA Round 2 admission faced the same situation where the documents were not collected? Is document submission done separately later, or should I urgently go back to Bengaluru?
I also have a family situation and my father is currently unwell, so travelling back to Bengaluru immediately would be difficult.
Any advice from someone who has gone through UVCE/KEA admission recently would be really helpful.
Thanks.
