"To look back is to be loved"
Dati inis na inis ako kay Orpheus kasi bakit pa nya nilingon si Eurydice kung kailan malapit na silang makalabas?
Ngayon alam ko na kung bakit. He already looked back the moment he decided to walk barefoot to the underworld just to take Eurydice back to life.
It was never about his doubt na baka hindi nakasunod sa kanya si Eurydice at inuuto lang sya nina Hades.
It's all about his grief.
And the gods know it. Na even if he spend years walking, gradually losing his own sanity just to save his beloved—it was already written na lilingon sya.
I can't deny the fact na akala ko antanga nya sa part na ginawa nya yon. Masyado lang pala kasarado at kaunti ang pag-unawa ko sa sitwasyon. I only understood the part where he made the mistake, and not the reason why he was in that situation in the first place.
his unconditional love for Eurydice was so strong, he couldn't let go of the past.
Andali lang na magsalita na you could do better than him. That if you love someone, you're willing to cross any obstacle just to be with their side again.
and maybe kaya mo nga.
But that would mean you already let go the attachment to the ghost of memories. You wouldn't be affected by doubt anymore, you wouldn't question if the gods was just tricking you and using your desperate act for entertainment. At kaya mo nang maglakad sa kawalan ng walang kasiguraduhan kasi wala ka naman nang pinaghahawakan pa—dahil you've already moved on.
Experience is the real eye opener talaga. hays.
The moment I experienced losing someone I deeply cared about before, doon ko lang naintindihan na pati ako ay lilingon kapag nabigyan nang pagkakataong marinig ko sya muli.
Gets na gets kina pareng Orpheus.
And I hope a lot of people will also understand your point of view.
