Will robots and AI take over the roles of doctors and nurses?

Because of China's aging population and a lack of young workers to care for seniors, they are moving towards robotic care, dispensing meds, food, checking vitals etc. The vision is to have an all in one unit that takes your vitals, inputs your symptoms to AI that then generates a care plan. I can see AI doing a much better job than human doctors, who make lots of mistakes and are often incompetent. So, will AI eventually infiltrate medical and will people be comfortable with this technology ?
