4-3-1-2 Question

Genuine question for those with more footballing knowledge than me: with our lack of depth at striker and the natural tendency of wingers like Mbeumo and Cunha especially to float inside, why not play a 4-3-1-2? Is it our lack of depth at midfield?

DF: Dalot, Heaven, Maguire, Shaw
MF: Baleba, Santos, Tielemans
CAM: Fernandes
ST: Mbeumo, Sesko
