30mg Vyvanse & 300mg Wellbutrin, but still feel depressed/flat yet anxious and irritable. What do I need to change?

Medication & Side Effects

I was diagnosed with combined ADHD at 40 years old after being on antidepressants since my teens for anxiety and depression.

I’m surprised and confused because I thought starting ADHD medicine would really help, which it did for just the first few months, yet now I’m back to square one after a year on them.

All my to do lists are a mile long but I still can’t be productive, I procrastinate and over research every thing. I’m overwhelmed so start little bits here and there but don’t complete anything. I’m still a mess, brain fog and memory is terrible, always late even if I try to be early with multiple alarms, am irritable with my kids (both are AuDHD and one is PDA), hate my horrible husband and want a divorce but am stuck, and just am not loving life. I just can’t be bothered and it’s all too much.

I feel so guilty because I have a life many would kill for but I can’t seem to get my act together, even with healthy eating, exercise, positive thinking and gratitude, trying to be sociable etc.

Is it that Vyvanse/Wellbutrin just isn’t the right fit for me? Or is the dose too low? I was offered Ritalin and Concerta but am hesitant to mess around with different pills. Should I try a few days on the other meds and see what I’m like?

Thanks in advance for your advice 🙏🏻
