Moving to Kuwait soon..

Hello, I’m excited to be moving to Kuwait from the US.

How is the Mishref neighborhood to live in? Are there a decent number of restaurants and cafes nearby?

Also, is Google Maps the primary way to find businesses, clinics, etc or are there better local apps? (Google Maps only showed me 15 ladies salons in the whole city (haha priorities). I downloaded food apps for deliveries.

Also, what is the best way to quickly find a part-time housemaid/domestic help?

I’m also concerned about a few posts saying brown people face racism there, as I’m not white. Is it difficult to make friends with local Kuwaitis?
