I turned 21 and it was the best birthday of my life

I (21F) turned 21 and before this, all my birthdays were lowkey traumatic. Something or the other would always happen, and I'd end up crying myself to sleep.

But this time, from the start to 12 AM of 29th, it was perfect.

There are a lot of things I wished for last year, and some did come true. All credit goes to my mother, sister, brother, and two of my best friends.

I wished for friends like them last year, and now I have them. So yes, wishes do come true.

My mother gifted me all my fav snacks and junk food I wanted (that's what I wanted the most, I have everything else lol).

My younger sister is a gift herself, and even though she wasn't here this year, her "emotional" gifts made me cry.

And my friends wrote me long ass paragraphs, sent voice notes, edited eve vids for my birthday eve, and it's the first time I am getting efforts in return.

They posted emotional af posts about me, and I cried tears (rivers) of joy for the first time in my life on my birthday.

God is great, y'all.
And wishes do come true!
