I finished the 3rd season and I was so confused (my own fault)

So all this time for some reason I thought the Ever restaurant was in London. I probably confused it with some other restaurant that Carmy and/or Luca mentioned working at(?). So in Forks I had the idea that Richie had taken a plane to stage there for a week or something, like Marcus in Copenhagen. The fact that the great Olivia Colman was the chef, and how Richie didn't keep in touch with anyone from there helped cement this idea in my head.

And then in the 3rd season finale (the "funeral"), I thought "Ok they've gotten on a plane again to go there, nice". Then Syd appeared and I was "...Ok sure, why not include her in the trip". But then of course when they all go to Syd's apartment I was so confused. Wait a minute, has this been Chicago all along? Sure enough, they were in the same city all this time and I'm an idiot! And yes, the fact that the guy who offered Syd a job worked there should have given me an idea, but somehow that didn't register.

Also I haven't watched the rest of the show yet, but come on Richie, Jess lives in your city and you didn't even call her? What are you doing?!

I'll finish saying that I'm really enjoying the show so far. The 3rd season seems to be very divisive, some people calling it very slow and full of filler episodes, but I thought it was nice.
