Marriott/Bluegreen vacation deal or scam?

My husband and I got a seemingly out of nowhere sales pitch at a Bass Pro shop(we’ve never been before)
for a 3 night stay for $220 + if we go to a “presentation” while on our trip we get $350 in gift cards.
I have zero interest or funds to buy any timeshare but I would like an inexpensive get away.
My husband is very uncomfortable being pushed to buy anything; it would probably ruin his vacation if he had to sit through a long sales pitch. I don’t think I would mind too much; I have no issue saying I’m not interested and only there to get my reward.
Would I be able to go without him?
If I don’t buy anything do I still get the deal?
Has anyone actually gone one of these trips? Was it worth it?
Are the hotels you get to stay at actually nice?
If we do it, Which location should I choose?
