Chapped/Cracked Lips Remedy?

My 7yo son has a tic right now where he licks his lips and then opens his mouth. Over the last couple weeks this has caused his lips to become significantly chapped and cracked. To the point of bleeding.

I’ve tried chapstick but it just won’t hold long enough to do any good.

Do you all have any recommendations for how to get his lips to heal?
