Hasn’t helped control oil at all.

So I’ve been using Tazarotene .1% every night for last 3 months and my fave is still an oil farm. It is extremely frustrating. Not sure what I’m doing wrong? I use the cerave hydrating face wash and then the tazarotene at night followed by La Roche Passat double repair matte moisturizer. Same routine in morning minus the Taz.
