Car insurance for teen boy

I’m wondering what to expect for insurance costs for my son who is 17.5 in Worcester. He has As and Bs so hopefully we can get that good student discount. I was told it would be cheaper to add him to my Plymouth Rock policy (I have a clean driving record) but no one will give me an actual estimate for when he gets his license very soon and needs to be insured.
