There are a crazy amount of NPC usernames on this sub posting either political opinions or super trite shit farming karma

I am not saying literally everyone with a NounNounNumber or a Noun-Noun username etc is a bot fueling dead internet reality... I am not saying that...

I am however at the point where I think my enjoyment of this sub or at least reddit in general would probably go up if I had an extension to block anyone with an NPC name. Like I think my happiness on the platform was better when we had the few years with everyone copying the pm-me-your-xyx, at least I could comfortably know there was a human on the other side of the handle even if they had the worst or blandest takes.

If you have a default randomly generated name, I am sorry. You are an NPC. It is the emdash of usernames. I don't make the rules. Especially if you go around asking super normie things like "What is your favorite xyz?", "What makes you blahblahblah", or very curiously some rage baity thinly veiled -isms or sexist things. Please convince me there is a soul behind your posts, I am really dismayed by the state of things
