Dji Mic Mini receiver not working with my 9 Pro. Any suggestions as to why?

Hi all. When I plug the receiver into my USB C connection on my One Plus 9 Pro the TX1 and TX2 doesn't light up on the receiver at all. Those are indicator lights that it's receiving power. When I plug my USB C power supply cable into the receiver it lights up. Any idea why?

If you go to their compatibility list, my phone is listed as compatible, so I have no idea why. My guess is the USB C doesn't seem to output enough power to the mic.
