Getting Your Parent to Play a Hard Game

Gaming

So my parents and especially my dad thinks that video game are a waste of time, childish, meant to get to addicted, all that. They don’t get mad when they see me playing a game or smth, but my dad has said plenty of times he doesn’t like game and expecte me to stop playing games when I’m older. I think the reason he has this opinion is because his only experience with games is mobile gaming, so I’m considering asking him ig he wants to try out a PC game. My game of choice is probably Celeste, because it’s one of my favorite games, its simple to understand conceptually because it’s a platformer, and even though it’s hard, it’s super forgiving and death isn’t really a punishment. And if it ends up being too hard, assist mode is always there, but I do want him to try a decently hard game.

Is tjis a good idea? And I wouldn’t just be asking hom to play for 15 minutes I would except him to conplete to 7A
