Am I weird for not wanting anyone in the room during courthouse wedding

I'm having a courthouse wedding, then a small party afterwards. We're in a state where you don't even need witnesses, and I honestly would love to do the actual short ceremony in private -- I have never wanted a wedding precisely bc I've always hated the idea of standing in front of people like that. Also I hate PDA (to my own detriment)

I think my parents will find this strange and people will understandably say it's not a big deal, they would love to be there. I'm pretty private, reserved, and honestly kind of cagey; I'm not saying that's how a person should be but it's my personality lol. I am self-conscious that it will read as gay shame (gay marriage) to people and maybe it is! Maybe I SHOULD be willing to be uncomfortable in that moment and vulnerability will be worth it. I just think marriage itself is mysterious and private and it makes sense to me to do it this way.

We will hire a film photographer and prob have them in the room which doesn't bother me bc that's a stranger lol. I'm a caricature of my milieu can't resist it
