Best things to look out for at a small firm

Im starting next week at a small firm which consists of 5 attorneys, me being the fifth and no billables, which im not sure i feel its normal as i work in immigration defense. Ive worked as an attorney for a legal aid prior.

Was wondering some advice of transitioning into a small firm, any things to look out for. Thanks in advance
