The USA pledging $500k to Nepal disaster relief is a joke
The USA, richest country in the world, has pledged $500k of disaster relief for Nepal’s recent flooding
Surely this is a complete joke? UK pledged £5m, UAE $10m etc
$500k seems like a ridiculously small amount - like it literally seems like a rounding error in the smallest govt budget. Like it seems almost insulting - surely you’re better off not pledging anything at all (not really but you know what I mean)
