There are SO many products marketed as **BHA toners/exfoliants**, but once you start comparing the formulas, they’re definitely not all doing the same thing. 👀

So I put together this chart to make them easier to compare side-by-side.

I looked at things like:

🧪 **Salicylic acid concentration**
💰 **Price**
💧 **Product size**
🍃 **Alcohol-free vs. alcohol-containing formulas**
🧴 **Skin types they’re better suited for**
✨ **Other ingredients and benefits in the formula**

Something I think is especially important: **a product containing BHA doesn’t automatically mean you’re getting a 2% salicylic acid treatment.**

Some formulas combine BHA with AHAs or PHAs. Others focus heavily on soothing or hydrating ingredients. And then you have the straightforward 2% salicylic acid formulas designed primarily for congestion, blackheads and oily skin.

So I wouldn’t necessarily choose one just because it has the highest percentage or because it’s the most expensive.

I’d choose based on **what my skin actually needs and what the rest of my routine already contains.**

And if you’re new to BHA, I definitely wouldn’t introduce one of these while simultaneously adding three other exfoliants. 😂 Give your skin a chance to tell you what it thinks first.

I’m curious about the Reddit consensus on this one:

💬 **Which BHA toner/exfoliant have you tried, and would you repurchase it?**

✨ **Decode your skin. Elevate your glow.** 💧✨
🔬 I’m always researching, learning, and updating what I know because skincare isn’t one-size-fits-all.
