Laws (Basic Mechanical Design License)

Is there any real functionality of the “Law” command when you have a basic Mechanical Design License (Part Design, GSD 1, Assembly, Machining)?

I have limited experience with “Laws”, only time I used it was as a in-house contractor using their GSD 2 license to apply a sine function to curves.

Couple times I would play around with it for possible machining operations, but no success.
