When you have a doctors note.

So my doctor sent me to work with a very vague note. Due to an allergy I have (which it does not state) there are areas of my job I need to stay away from.

I have a wheat allergy and I work in a bakery. I’ve been here a couple years. Now in the past it only affected me when I ate it. So I don’t. But lately they’ve put me in an area where I’m very close to where they mix things and they throw flour. So it’s just a massive cloud of flour there.

My doctors note just says I need to stay away from that area permanently. Though it could be read I need to stay away from the raw ingredient permanently.

Anyway my work said they will not accommodate that.

I personally feel there are areas I can work in that cause me no issues. But they are refusing. And now Monday I am working in that area where it’s going to cause me medical issues.

Any advice?
