Consistent medication access - why the hell is it so hard

My company changed insurances to Meritain/Aetna and now they are forcing me to go through CVS pharmacies instead of my BELOVED HEB pharmacy. They were never out of my sunosi or any rx hardly ever, they always did most of the dealing with the doctors office, etc.

Now I’m calling my doctors office like 10 times a month because they can’t send my prescription in correctly and or CVS can’t keep it in stock. I finally won the battle this month I thought, until I just realized they only dispensed 7 goddamn pills to me. So I guess I’m safe for a WEEK?

The absolute torment of having to have enough energy that I have to be calling around like a madman during work every month to get my medication is going to make me go insane.

How the hell do yall cope with the shitshow?
