Wuwa player starting ?

So I am a wuthering waves player.

I do not want to play hsr as a main game but I am really interested in its story and cutscenes now.

I just saw cosmic level distruction done by a single individual in it and also I was really fascinated by cyrene ultimate.

But the combat was really disgusting that is something holding me back.

How long is the main story / imp side story?

Can I skip fights altogether ? I mean I am ok with building and farming for characters but I don't wanna sit and keep clicking the same button again and again on turn based.

Is the story really a thing to be interested in or is it just the visuals and story isn't really that deep?
