So this is something i'm really passionate about and think most of the community actively ignore the facts and misinterpret, The Week Before, Secrets of the mimic, FNaF 2 & FNaF 3 to make it work.

# What FNaF 2 says

This is important as FNaF 2 lays this out to the point i'd argue theirs no way to spin it around. So let's hear what is said in the game:

\> by now I’m sure you’ve noticed the **older models**, sitting in the back room. Uh, those are from the **previous location**, we just use them for parts now. The idea at first was to repair them. Uh, they even started retrofitting them with some of the newer technology. But they were just so **ugly**, you know? And the **smell**…ugh. Uh

Thats pretty definitive as is, from Ralph's words their from the prevous location

"**Then why were they retrofitted, thats why their the withereds"**

But they weren't, they were already in disrepair as the withereds then they were going to get the updated **Facial recognition technology** the Toys have, and as the toys & withereds share endo 02 it's basically comfirned, whether the tech is specific to the 02 models or their an update to the animatronics software.

\> Uh, heh. I loved those **old** characters

The withereds are described as the old characters as they are, in the Game's narrative thats just what they are

\> Oh wait, Foxy…oh yeah, Foxy! Uh…hey listen! Uh, that one was always a bit twitchy.

Why would he describe withered foxy in past tense, afterall if we treat the classics as the 85 animatronic Withered Foxy shouldn't be haunted, none of them should be

Like thats pretty definitive as is. And i'd call that as objective as FNaF gets, atleast for the time 12 years ago

**"Then whys the classics in secret of the mimic"**

It's pretty clear in game that the classics are Fiona's designs, freddys were going to use them & monty and bub in Freddys, then Henry's change order removed the springlocks. Along with Fazbear eventually changing the design of the core 4 to "creepy" designs.

These have to be the unwithereds as Henry's insanity speech claims he created the animatronics and assuming he had to finish the unwithereds after Edwin's disappearance it makes sense, not to mention Henry has no reason to lie in his **private logs**, in the insanity ending Michael's lobotomised for finding out he has no business hearing this speech.

**"But this would mean Follow Me happened before FNaF 1 & MoltenMCI wouldn't make sense****"**

MoltenMCI isn't officially comfirmed and all we really know is that part of the mci victims are in Molten Freddy through the Funtimes, that's it. It's perfectly plausible the souls remnant can be in 2 places or Molten Freddy's made up of kids the Funtimes killed, afterall Baby seemingly killed a kid before sister location night 5. My point being we dont know enough about Molten mci to make it work

**"What about Help Wanted with the endo o1s in the furnace"**

Help Wanted launched with no models for the unwithereds and the toys showed very little of the endos, it's a placeholder if anything other then set dressing.

**"But they Buttons arent canon the minigames arent consistent"**

As I said with UcnBear about FNaF 4, FNaF 3 is consistent with it between Freddy & Bonnie

And FNaF 3 backs this up, both the vintage posters around Fazbear Frights & the Follow me sprites match the withereds in that they have Buttons. This isn't a mistake as both have buttons & Springtrap whose from the unwithereds era has the Buttons. This isn't a mystake

# To conclude:

I hope i explained this well, I dont mean to be a prick about the lore but with how much people blatantly ignore FNaF 2 for headcanons it really pisses me off and needed to kinda show how lopsided this is

Based on the Games the Unwithereds are objectively canon
