Financials were done off applicants earnings as a locum so was via category B. Our living together evidence was a bit stressful as we both work away a lot, we get given free (separate) work accomodation, or do short term house share so didn’t have any leases from our time together in the UK. We had been living together for 2 years in Australia with tenancy agreements so I included those as well as letters from people we’d lodged with. All our post was always sent to his dad’s house where we didn’t actually live so it all matched up.

I didn’t use a solicitor but I do have a friend who is an immigration lawyer so asked her a lot of questions particularly around proving we live together even though it’s not “conventional”.
