Male hair growth after full hysterectomy...normal cortisol but low ACTH.
I had a full hysterectomy and ovaries removed at 30. My endocrinologist is ruling out cushings. My am cortisol was 0.5 my ACTH <1.5 DHEA is 145. The other test she did was hydroxyprogestrone which was <0.8. We are trying to figure out why I am still producing male pattern hair growth. I did have PCOS before surgery. Do any of these point to a adrenal problem? I am overweight with type 2 thyroid disease and others.
