iphones and iems

i heard that iems are not meant for iphones as an iphone doesnt provide enough power for it to get that full experience with bot dac and dsp is this true
if so can h recommend me a pair that works well for iphones
i currently use the chu 2 not the dsp version tho so im gonna upgrade along with that get a dac
