i survived the PIP ðŸ˜
for context, i work in a recruitment firm with quotas per month, and this is actually my first job (2025 grad)
i have been assigned with the technical recruitment, and was not hitting the targets consistently for 5 months. i was literally 0 per month. i was in the verge of quitting the industry because it was stressful and was not performing well. hiyang hiya na ako sa management and sa team ko. during my 5th month, kinausap ako ng director ko, asking if i was okay to be transferred into another recruitment team (bpo & healthcare recruitment), and if i’ll accept the PIP (performance improvement plan) that they proposed to me at that time, for three months. in-accept ko naman, kasi at least they’re showing na they want me to stay in the company.
moving forward, last july, i finally surpassed the PIP. i was able to hit my monthly quotas consistently (no evil eyes, pls, jkjk). akala ko that was the end of me talaga. sobrang pasuko na ako during my 3 months. pero in my head, grateful kasi pinag-katiwalaan ako ng new director ko. she mentioned na ayaw niyang ma-waste talent ko, sayang naman daw ‘yung talent.
now, i’ll be celebrating my 1 yr na on november.
i can finally say, I SURVIVED THE 3-MONTH HELL PIP
